Success all along the line: s.Pro applications for new generation Interreg projects approved

All three applications for new Interreg Baltic Sea Region projects elaborated by s.Pro on behalf of its clients have been approved! This is the result of the Interreg Baltic Sea Region Programme’s Monitoring Committee meeting in Malmö on 18 and 19 November 2015. The Committee selected 35 of the 282 project applications that had originally been submitted in response to the first call.

The three project applications prepared by s.Pro in close collaboration with its clients and the entire project partnership are:
Also the following applications for new Interreg Baltic Sea Region projects of the SUBMARINER Network were approved by the Monitoring Programme:
  • Smart Blue Regions – Smart Specialisation and Blue Growth in the BSR
  • Baltic Blue Biotechnology Alliance
  • Baltic Blue Growth – Initiation of full scale mussel farming in the Baltic sea
s.Pro is a full member of the SUBMARINER Network for EEIG and hosts its Secretariat. In this role s.Pro has also been involved in preparing these three applications. Read more about the new SUBMARINER Network projects on the network’s web pages.

The consortia of the new Interreg projects will now have three months to establish the contractual framework for their work. The official implementation of the projects is expected to start in March 2016.
